Some moments carve themselves into memory, reminding us of the power of believing in young people’s dreams. Back in 1980, Anders Wall, along with a group of visionaries, planted a seed that would transform Sweden when they introduced Ung Företagsamhet, inspired by the American Junior Achievement model.

Anders Wall’s vision was simple but powerful: to give every young person, regardless of background, the chance to discover and develop their entrepreneurial potential.

Yesterday, with a profound sense of humility and gratitude, Zlatan Bajric took his seat as a jury member for the Anders Wall Scholarship—one of Sweden’s most significant awards for young entrepreneurs. This scholarship not only provides financial support but also opens doors to a unique network of innovators and business leaders.

When Zlatan stood there in 2012, knees shaking as a recipient, he never imagined that he would one day sit on the other side of the table. It feels like a full circle—from being a nervous scholarship recipient to now being an excited jury member. That budding sense of possibility he felt back then is now reflected in the eyes of today’s young entrepreneurs.

Each time, he is struck by the incredible power within Sweden’s young entrepreneurs. They show that success isn’t about never falling, but about the courage to rise again, the passion to realize their dreams, and the ability to inspire others along the way.

On March 10, 2025, Anders Wall’s birthday, the honor will be Zlatan’s to welcome another bright star to the Wallumni family—a network that continues to shape the entrepreneurial future of Sweden.
